In the 500-400's B.C. (historians argue about the exact dates) Gautama Buddha was a young prince and spiritual teacher from India. Later, his teachings became the philosophical basis for Buddhism. This BBC documentary covers the Buddha's life, from a young prince to a drifter, traveling and seeking the reason for "Dukkha" [problems] of human life. Watch as he finds the reason of Dukkha and begins to teach a Middle Way to live life.
