This Saturday, July 16th (2011) Fuji-Q Highland theme park in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan will officially open the world's steepest roller-coaster, called the "Takashiba". Never to be outdone, the announcement for the new roller-coaster came within a few years of their pride and joy Fujiyama roller-coaster being unseated by several other coasters, the latest being the record-holding Kingda Ka in Jackson, New Jersey USA as the world's tallest, fastest and farthest dropping roller-coaster.
