When he was just 17, C. W. Nicol journeyed from his homeland of Wales to the North Pole and across Canada. A decade later, he was struggling desperately against poachers as an officer in Ethiopia's Ministry of Wildlife Conservation. After a long life of adventuring and devotion to the martial arts, he settled down in the wilds of Satoyama, Nagano Prefecture. In 1986, he began to preserve and restore the woodlands on a rough patch of land on the Kurohime Plateau now known as the C. W. Nicol Afan Woodland. The author of multiple works in many languages, frequently on things natural, C. W. took Japanese nationality in 1995. His ecotourism work, including establishing the Afan Forest Foundation in 2002, aims to expand public initiatives and awareness, and he has often served as the environmental conscience of Japan's government. Particularly after the Great East Japan Earthquake, no one has a stronger desire to see people living in harmony with nature.

When this guy thinks of a prank, he really commits to it. Shaving his head and gluing it to a wig, he whips it off when they’re not looking to freak them out. Whether the prank or his weird idea freaks them out more is hard to tell. Either way, it feels good to be a prankster.
The amazing Texe Marrs with another ground shaking documentary. This time, Texe looks as the satanic presence in the US and the world of today. The symbols and rituals of evil are found almost everywhere in these end of times.
Rigged an exercise bike up to an old Super Nintendo controller using An Arduino microcontroller, some sensors/switches and some transistors.
Peddling at a certain rate holds down the A button to accelerate, left and right are buttons on the handlebars and there is a red button in the middle of the handlebars for using special items.
I have another video I'll upload soon which better describes the bike controller.
There is a quick overview of how it works here:
http://statuswoe.blogspot.ca/2012/04/super-mario-kart-cycle.html including a link to the github project where my very quickly written android sketch is available. I'm hoping to put up schematics of both the bike and SNES Adapter (part of which actually uses an SNES controller) there when I get the chance.
For anyone interested in seeing it work with a non-SNES game Mike McGraw and I came up with a game/adapter that is played on a Computer via USB. I think the game is pretty neat.
Step 1: Distract the child
Distract the child from whatever’s causing the frustration. Draw the child’s attention to anything else – a toy, a book, or activity.
Step 2: Stay calm
Remain calm and collected. Show the child you have control of the situation.
How To Deal With a Toddler's Temper Tantrum:
Step 3: Talk to the child
Discuss the situation with the child. Show them you understand why they are upset.
Step 4: Remove the child
Remove the child from the scene, whether it’s a family gathering, a shopping mall, or grocery store. Pick up the child and physically remove them to a different surrounding.
Reserve a time-out area in your home where the child will go to calm down.
Step 5: Be consistent
Always be consistent with your actions. Never give in to an unruly child, or your child will soon rule your home.
