Saw this a while back (like last year) but somehow forgot to post it. The Axis of Awesome posit that many rock and pop music hits are the same four musical chords. Certainly most in the music industry can admit there's a ton of "recycling" and in some cases blatant copying (especially of what's already popular and proven to sell).
