Founded by Marcin Jakubowski in 2003, a lesser known group called Open Source Ecology is, in their own words, “focusing on hardware that can change human life” and working towards a sustainable industrial economy through their Global Village Construction Set (GVCS) project. It is what they call making a better world through open source hardware.
