Leonard Nimoy - The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins
Depending on how you look at it, this may have either been the highlight or rock-bottom of Leonard Nimoy's career... certainly his most unique performance. Filmed during a guest appearance on the July 28, 1967 episode of Malibu U, a short-lived American variety television series.
The song itself was composed by Charles Randolph Grean and tells the story of Bilbo Baggins and his adventures in J. R. R. Tolkien's novel The Hobbit.
