What, exactly, is a DREW Song Competition?
Well, its basically a silly contest conceived by some of the most dedicated members of the BCmoney community.In fact, it's quite easy... you have your friends film you performing, or simply sing and record yourself performing your favorite Karaoke song, and if the community likes your performance you'll win an iTunes gift card (worth $15 towards any purchase in the iTune store). Any videos that get more than 5000 views are entitled to a video iPod. Pretty easy right?
It is, except for the fact that you need to replace common "ooh" words ,such as: you, do and true with the generic name DREW. You don't need to replace all occurrences of these types of "ooh" words, just the most creative and/or funny ones. One funny example of a great homemade video is included here for your reference (side-by-side with original):
Extra points/prizes may also be given out for most creative music video, best choice of song, and most impressive dance choreography in a video.
