The Axis of Awesome - 4 Chords
Saw this a while back (like last year) but somehow forgot to post it. The Axis of Awesome posit that many rock and pop music hits are the same four musical chords. Certainly most in the music industry can admit there's a ton of "recycling" and in some cases blatant copying (especially of what's already popular and proven to sell).
The Axis of Awesome are:
- Jordan Raskopoulos
- Lee Naimo
- Benny Davis
If you like this you should definitely buy their album on iTunes, or, if instant updates about what people ate for breakfast is for you then follow them on Twitter or at least like them on Facebook

Object 5 - Futuristic Sci-Fi Artwork by Kilian Eng
The 29-year old artist and illustrator Kilian Eng, who lives in Stockholm, works mainly on the computer, moving between illustration and animation (he’s also a musician). He says that video was a natural outlet for his narrative style, and a new monograph called Object 5 collects his still works, which have appropriately mysterious titles like At The Edge Of The Jungle, Mystery Prayer, and The Statue. He has admitted to the obvious inspiration from Jean Giraud (aka Moebius) and also credits Dune and other science-fiction classics for inspiring his style.
Please consider supporting his awesome work by buying his Object5 monograph.
