Due to my duties at the GSO, classwork and projects, I don’t suspect I’ll have much time to post here until the end of the year.
Unfortunately, that means I’m probably not going to post much of interest throughout this period, but in a way, this will serve as a test run, since I’ll have to be actively involved in blogging and other technical tools as part of my course requirements,
Check out the GSO blog or my photo album on Kodak Multiply for now!

BC$ = Behavior, Content, Money
The goal of the BC$ project is to raise awareness and make changes with respect to the three pillars of information freedom - Behavior (pursuit of interests and passions), Content (sharing/exchanging ideas in various formats), Money (fairness and accessibility) - bringing to light the fact that:
1. We regularly hand over our browser histories, search histories and daily online activities to companies that want our money, or, to benefit from our use of their services with lucrative ad deals or sales of personal information.
2. We create and/or consume interesting content on their services, but we aren't adequately rewarded for our creative efforts or loyalty.
3. We pay money to be connected online (and possibly also over mobile), yet we lose both time and money by allowing companies to market to us with unsolicited advertisements, irrelevant product offers and unfairly structured service pricing plans.

It's a bittersweet victory as I reach the end of my internship with Sony and thus complete this chapter of my Japan adventure.
I've really enjoyed my time here thoroughly though its gone entirely too fast; and while I'm eager to get home and see friends and family I've barely been able to keep in touch...
This is my first official blog post, in what's sure to be a very sporadic (in terms of both post frequency and topics) effort to share some information and insight with the rest of the world.
Who knows exactly what I will "blog" about but it is trendy and hip in the IT world, and thus...
